    Isuzu launches ‘Mix & Max’
    promo for Global D-Max

ISUZU Philippines Corp. has a new treat for Global D-Max buyers. Called the D-Max Mix & Max promo, this latest Isuzu Global D-Max sales campaign offers pickup buyers the best value for their money.

From March 5 to 31, all buyers of designated D-Max variants can get as much as P25,000 worth of “Max-Cessorize” gift certificates (GCs), which are available in P5,000 denominations and can be used to buy genuine parts and factory-approved accessories, or pay for labor service, insurance, registration, chattel mortgage and rustproofing. The GCs may also be used by buyers to avail themselves of discounts on a vehicle purchase from any authorized Isuzu dealership.

Buyers of the D-Max 4x2 LS automatic as well as the D-Max 4x2 LX manual and automatic (2006 model) get P10,000 worth of Max-Cessorize GCs, while those who purchase a D-Max 4x2 LS manual, D-Max 4x4 LS manual and automatic and an Isuzu Passenger Van will receive P20,000 worth of gift certificates. Buyers of the D-Max 4x2 LT manual get P25,000 worth of GCs. The tax-free gift certificates are valid within one year from the date of issuance.

Powering the Global D-Max LX and LS variants is a new 3.0-liter 4JJ1 I-TEQ common-rail direct-injection diesel engine with turbo intercooler that produces a maximum output of 146 ps at 3,800 rpm and a maximum torque of 294 Nm at 1,400 to 3,400 rpm. This enables the D-Max to turn in not just better performance but also better fuel-efficiency. The D-Max LT variant, meanwhile, features the 2.5-liter 4JA1-L direct-injection diesel engine that produces a maximum output of 81 ps at 3,900 rpm.

D-Max diesel engines are Euro 2-compliant, making them compatible with local diesel fuels, and are environment-friendly. In terms of ride comfort, the D-Max’s Flex Ride Move rear suspension gives it the kind of ride that better befits a passenger van than a hardworking pickup.

No wonder the D-Max won the Best Pickup trophy in the Auto Focus People’s Choice Awards three consecutive years, from 2005 to 2007.

“I wish to invite all consumers out there to try the D-Max and find out for themselves just how good it really is,” IPC president Keiji Takeda said. “I have no doubt that they will also discover what countless satisfied D-Max owners—not just here but all around the world as well—already know. Which is that our pickup is probably the best thing to happen to their motoring lives.”

Visit the nearest Isuzu dealership for a test drive and log on to www.isuzuphil.com for further updates on this latest D-Max promo, which runs until March 31 only.
